Go Ape in Thetford Forest

An exciting and imaginative high wire adventure park set 40 feet above the ground! Nestled in the heart of Thetford Forest Go Ape offers visitors an experience to remember. Once harnessed in and ready to go you have 5 sections to explore with zip wires, rope bridges and Tarzan swings to navigate. All this set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with 50,000 acres of forest to walk or cycle around.

The National Stud

A great day out for all the family, visitors are given behind the scenes access to one of the most prestigious stud farms in the country. Each tour may vary but all will include the superb Stallion Unit, home to some of the most famous stallions in the business. A look in at the Foaling Unit will follow before visiting the Nursery Yard where mothers and foals are viewed in their paddocks.

Easton Farm Park

This award winning farm located in the Deben river valley near Woodbridge offers child friendly fun in spades. With delights ranging from petting baby lambs, pony riding, egg collecting and tractor driving, energy will be in short supply come nightfall. Visit on the 4th Saturday of the month for a locally sourced farmers market.

Colchester Zoo

Billed as one of Europe's finest zoos, at Colchester you can see the usual crowd and the rarer animals. Pass through White Tiger Valley to get to Penguin Shores before comparing the Meerkats and walking with the Wallabys. Colchester has over 260 species to see, 30 daily displays, 4 adventure play areas and 2 road trains all set on 60 acres of beautiful parkland.
