English Holiday Cottages: Stay in Beautiful, Historical Properties

English Holiday Cottages in Suffolk with a National Trust Holiday Feel

Suffolk Character Cottages’ English holiday cottages have all the charm and character of a Landmark Trust or National Trust holiday cottage whilst catering exclusively for guests who enjoy fine furnishings and luxurious facilities.

The private holiday lettings market is slowly rising to the demand for beautiful English holiday cottages. Where prospective holiday-makers may have previously relied upon Landmark or National Trust holiday cottages, the same kind of traditional, English holiday cottages can now be found through small, private holiday rental companies.

Suffolk Character Cottages provide English Heritage listed holiday cottages where rustic country features and boutique modern luxuries collide. The English holiday cottage and holiday barn are nestled in protected Suffolk countryside and near to some of England’s loveliest National  Trust landmarks.

English Holiday Cottages Inspired by National Trust Holiday Cottages

When we started Suffolk Character Cottages, we looked for English holiday cottages which were both comfortable and homely. We were inspired by the charming and historical Suffolk villages. Our luxury English holiday cottages retain original fittings and period style, giving them a National Trust holiday cottage feel, whilst the interiors, appliances and furnishings have been updated to the highest modern quality. Our English holiday cottages are fitted with credible luxury brands such as Mullberry, Stoves and Jim Lawrence, providing a home from home for discerning guests.

All of the English holiday cottages listed here are protected by English Heritage as buildings of local or national importance. The style of each English holiday cottage is tailored to its unique and colourful history.
